CHAKRA'S - What are they?

Chakra's - What are they?



Chakra in Sanskrit means wheel.
People who see chakras see them spinning.
Some people can also see when chakras are blocked or affected by emotional, mental, physical or spiritual problems.
These problems are not only in our mind and physical body, but also in the etheric body.
Chakras can accumulate the negative energy.
This may have a 'knock on' effect on the chakra next to it e.g an emotional problem stored in the heart chakra may also become a communication problem which will affect the throat chakra. 
This may lead to the entire chakra system becoming unbalanced.

The seven main chakras

The Base Chakra

Located at the base of the spine, this chakra forms our foundation.
It affects the lower pelvis, hips, legs and feet.
It represents the element earth, and is therefore related to our survival instincts,
and to our sense of grounding and connection to our bodies and the physical plane.

The Sacral Chakra

Located in the abdomen between the sexual organs and the navel.
It is related to emotions and sexualily.
It affects the testes, ovaries, womb, kidney, lower back and colon.
It connects to others through feeling, desire, sensation and movement and affects social interaction. 
This chakra brings us depth of feeling, and the ability to accept change.

Solar Plexus Chakra

Located between the navel and the base of the rib cage.
It rules our personal power. 
It affects the entire energy system, digestion, pancreas, liver, breathing, gall bladder and middle back. 
It deals with fears, anxieties, sickness, stomach ulcers and thoughts and feelings.

Heart Chakra

This is the middle chakra and is located at the centre of the chest.
It affects the heart, lungs, middle and upper back, the hands and the arms. 
It deals with emotional problems, inner feelings, unconditional love and the soul.
A healthy heart chakra allows us to love deepty, feel compassion, have a deep sense of peace and centeredness.

Throat Chakra

Located at the throat and is related to communication. 
It affects thyroid, ears, nose and throat. 
It deals with self expression, communication, creativity, trust, truth, individual personality and conffict.

Brow Chakra or Third Eye

Located at the centre of the forehead between the eyebrows. 
It affects the brain, eyes and head. 
It is related to the act of seeing
both physically and intuitively and clairvoyance. 
As such it opens our psychic faculties and our understanding of archetypal
levels. 
It gives knowledge of past lives.

Crown Chakra

Located at the top of the head. 
It affects the brain, entire physical
body, unity and complete functioning. 
It relates to consciousness and pure awareness. 
It is our connection to the greater world
beyond, to a timeless space of all knowing. 
When developed this chakra brings us knowledge, wisdom, understanding, spiritual connection and bliss.

How to raise your vibration?

Step 1 - GRATITUDE

To create your tomorrow,go over your day tonight when
you are in bed just before you fall asleep, and feel gratitude
for the good moments. If there was something you wanted
to happen differently, replay it in your mind the way you
wanted it to go. As you fall asleep, say, "I will sleep deeply
and wake up full of energy. Tomorrow is going to be the
most beautiful day of my life."

The Spirit Train

This is an exercise that is used quite
a lot in past life regression and
even in future life progression. We
can still use this method in
mediumship also.

In this exercise you will look for
familiar spirits on the train. They
will be spirits that are known to
you and connected to your soul
group. You will be able to identify
them as you will get a sense of
knowing this person for some
reason. The more you practice this
exercise the more details vou will
be able to recover.

To begin find somewhere to sit and
make yourself comfortable.
Make sure you take time to relax and
slow your thoughts down and allow
your breathing to become slow and
regular.

Imagine yourself stood at a station
waiting for the spirit train, try to
imagine this as clearly as you can.
In the distance you see the train
coming towards you. The train is
getting closer and closer and as it
slowly pulls up to the platform it
stops.
As the doors open you step inside.
You notice that you are at the front
of the train and the carriage door
opens inside you see people sat in
different places. I want you to just
walk slowly through the carriage
and see if you are drawn to any
person, remember you don't have to
know them they could still be part
of your soul group. You may see
passed relatives here too.
Make sure that you notice all the
people facing in your direction,
those to the left and those to the
right. You may just feel a strong
pull towards a person, if this
happens ask the spirit where and
how you connect with them.
If you happen to see a passed relative stop and speak to them they will speak
back to you.
Once you come to the end of the
carriage continue to move through
the rest of the train.
Not everyone will be sitting in the
first carriage so keep a look out on your way through.
The train will not take you too far
and if you stay on the train it will
return you from where you
boarded it, all you have to do is ask or simply have intention to return and you be back at your boarding place.

The purpose of this exercise is to
get you used to identifying people
in spirit that have a link to yourself.
We have many soul groups,
everyone we connect to or come
into contact with in our daily
physical life are a part of our group
in one way or another.
You are opening yourself to your soul group and this will help you in your
mediumship.
Do not rush this exercise go slowly take your time and have a good look around.

Meditation

MEDITATION


Meditation has helped me understand my own mind. Before I started meditating, I never thought about what was going on inside my head , it would just happen, and I would follow its commands like an automaton. These days, all of that still happens, but more and more, I am aware of what’s going on. I can make a choice about whether to follow the commands. I understand myself better (not completely, but better), and that has given me increased flexibility and freedom.

Types of Meditation

Mindfulness meditation. 
Mindfulness meditation encourages you to observe wandering thoughts as they drift through the mind. The intention is not to get involved with the thoughts or to judge them, but simply to be aware of each mental note as it arises.

Through mindfulness meditation, you can see how your thoughts and feelings tend to move in particular patterns. Over time, you can become more aware of the human tendency to quickly judge an experience as good or bad, pleasant or unpleasant. With practice, an inner balance develops.
This a type of self observation. 



CONCENTRATION MEDITATION

Concentration meditation involves focusing on a single point. This could entail following the breath, repeating a single word or mantra, staring at a candle flame, listening to a repetitive sound. Since focusing the mind is challenging, a beginner might meditate for only a few minutes and then work up to longer durations.

In this form of meditation, you simply refocus your awareness on the chosen object of attention each time you notice your mind wandering. Rather than pursuing random thoughts, you simply let them go. Through this process, your ability to concentrate improves.



Guided Meditation.

Meditating is not always easy to actually do. This is especially true for beginners, which is where guided meditation can come in handy. Guided meditations are now available all over the Web completely for free, on YouTube.
Guided meditation helps with visualisation and relaxation.

If you are new to meditation , challange yourself, to a week of gradual build up from 10 minutes a day - 20 minutes a day , continue until it becomes part of your daily activities.
